The tools illustrate arithmetic outcomes — payoff timelines, interest totals, and cost comparisons — based on the numbers you enter. 2. Simplified estimates, not guarantees

Results are simplified estimates. The calculators intentionally leave out real-world complications, including but not limited to:

• daily (rather than monthly) interest accrual used by most card issuers;
• fees, penalty APRs, and deferred or retroactive interest terms;
• required minimum payments during promotional periods;
• changes to APRs, balances from new spending, or account closures;
• credit-score effects of any action described.

Each calculator states its key simplifications near its results. Verify any important decision — a balance transfer, a payoff plan, a borrowing choice — with your account statements and a qualified professional.
